I just restarted on USWest SCL Classic, and I found very few games that LoD has, not many trist, sewer, tomb runs.
so I would say, play through, get into a game that has 5 or more players in it, get your chant, and start clearing the blood moor. and slowly walk your way to all the WP's.
if you find the monsters too hard, jump in another game, and repeat the last WP lvl up and continue. thats what I'm doing, but if you can find them, then doing tristram runs till lvl 12 - 14, then sewers in act2 till 14, then tomb runs, till 20, then norm cows, to around 24-25ish, and then head in to chaos sanctuary runs.

my experience via self-chanting and using a bow
bloodmoor through stony in a full game = level 6-7 in no time move onto tristam and then jail until level 10.
at level 10 do cat's (all of them) - usually gets ya' to the mid teens at which point you can put twitch and rclaw on and clear arcane, and canyon and the tombs. not too difficult to get to 20 in a single game if you do all of them at this point.
norm cows from lvl 20 to 25 (or higher if no nm games on with cow killers)
level 25 is when good xp from nm cows starts, and you can kill nm cows with rclaw, and a lvl 30 or higher chant, but will need a tank to keep the cows off of you, a chanted merc, or if a necro a bone wall/golem, or if a sorc at least a level 1 cold spell of some sort to slow 'em down.
I typically nm cow to lvl 30-40 depending on char type, and move on from there. if there are quality cs runs, and you have rez gear, and some talent you can start csing with very nice results at this time, or if none available can get outstanding experience from flayer/council runs.

This is what I do to get my char to lvl 30 within an hour and a half, make sure you have almost all the waypoints for normal mode. Keep in mind this guide is for someone soloing everything in a full game.
Level1 - Get a bow with a good enchant (I use level 29 enchant) go straight for tristram, each kill will give you around 1-2 levels per kill with a full game. Untill around lvl 7-8 that's when I stop leveling in tristram.
Level 7/8 - Outer Cloister to get to level 10 by clearing both floors of the dungeon.
Level 10 - Go straight for the sewers in actII, walk from one of the two town entrances. Kill everything in there untill level 14.
Level 14 - Clear the Canyon of The Magi, easily level to 15 where you can then equip your RavenClaw bow.
Level 15 - Tomb of TalRasha, clear as many of them as you can untill level 20.
Level 20 - Clear out normal cow runs, best if you work this solo in a full game. I like to get a leg ready then make a cow game in a fullish act2 game, that way its not a actual cow game and you ignore every one else to get personal gain.
Level 30 - Nightmare Chaos Sanctuary runs to to level 60+.
Level 60 - Hell Chaos Sanctuary runs untill your a godly lvl 99.

He needs help getting to level 30, it seems to me that he doesn't have chant yet.
Leveling a chanter was one of the more painful things I've ever had to do, you just gotta find a group, and stick with them.

once level 30 ignore your chant gear for now, and put one into teleport. equip shard/magefists (which you'll use for chanting anyway) twitch, and a rezzy shield. assume teleport duties in hell cs runs - simply teleport in, and the higher level characters will party ya' up. hitting seals duty via telekinesis will keep you partied with the high level din/killer as well. maximizing warmth helps with chant anyway, so level it first as you level - it'll help you regen mana during teleport duty anyway.
that all being said, leveling a softcore chanter works quite well via the above. leveling one in hard core, is as you said a bit painful, and I believe most people never try to get one to 6x for that +2 ammy, etc. and maximized skills/synergies.
it also appeared that he was posing the question for use after his chanter is made. *shrug*

Since I can't seem to figure out how to edit my old post, at "Level - 7/8" you are suppose to go to outer cloister and then head into the pits. Located in the Tamoe Highlands, clear both floors of THAT dungeon.
enches aren't that bad to level. khalim's will takes you from 1-15 with no skill points needed spent. You'll need to party to level the next 15 levels. But with decent prebuff (+1 amu, +3 ench staff or hellplague+sigon's shield, mfist) and killing gear (death's/sigons+twitch) you should be doing good damage from low 30s, which can still be attained in normal cows very easily. Nightmare flayers can take you quickly to perhaps 52 or so as by by level 42 when you can use a +5 prebuff staff you should be soloing flayers in 8 player games easily. This is the point where I'd probably recommend equipping a shard+3 pdiamond tower/ward+twitch/irathra's and go on seal duty in nm cs runs (ench duty in cs walks) which will take you to the level you need for fully synergised maxed enchant with skill quests.
Alternatively for the softcore you can simply get a rush, leech hell cs walks from level 1-20s, switch to cows til late 20s, then come back and leech until 60s (at which point you should probably ensure you're able to contribute).

Funny, I was thinking of making an enchantress too. :undecided: Then I find this thread.
My question is not about fast leveling, but which skills to max. You see, I want this sorceress to be able to fight, not just boost other's damage. So, I have decided to max these:
Warmth (Synergie)
Enchant (Duh)
Fire Ball
Either Fire Bolt OR Meteor - I'm leaning toward Meteor
Fire Mastery
I'm not too worried about stat point distribution, I should be able to figure which stats would matter most to a enchantress.
You don't make an enchantress and then try and kill stuff with fireball  autoattacking with ravenclaw does something like 3k+ aoe damage (according to LCS) with (quite) good prebuffing at 2 attacks per second with IAS gear on switch. A half hearted fireball as you describe wouldn't do any more damage though you could get up to 3 attacks per second (sacrificicing a lot of res/block/+skills though for 110fcr).
basic ench:
20 warmth
20 enchant
20 fire mastery
1 static field
1 telekinesis
1 teleport
1 fire bolt
1 fireball
maxes at 65 pts (level 53), assuming you won't get past level 85 that's 30 points left to play with. If you wanted to be serious about using an enchantress as a build in its own right you may as well just drop 1 point in cold mastery, max frozen orb and then stick the rest in CM. FO doesn't even suffer from lack of fcr much.
The need for IAS, which tends to be mutually exclusive with FCR on gear, and a double handed weapon with no IAS and FCR means enches don't play well in the manner of a typical sorc with ravenclaw shots replacing fireball. As such meteorb makes more sense, though it would be a lot better if you could instantly weapon switch in classic (one of the most annoying disadvantages imo).

Have you tried the guide I wrote on the other page, people have left ways to level there's no need to keep asking how to level.
Try them out and use which ever one suites you best.

Yeah, there were a lot of good suggestions on the first page man.

I always do
1-15 trist runs (with enchant)
15-20 canyon
20-2x normcow
2x-40 nmcow
40-70 cs runs
Overall I can do this in one day. In all of the first ones you would be enchanted
In a four or greater player game, I did something like this:
1-5: Stoney Field
6-9: The Tower in Black Marsh
10-13: Catacombs
14-16: Maggot Lair
17-21: Tombs
22-25: Normal Cows
About this time, you can continue to do Normal Cows or attempt any part of NM, but if you can get rushed to Hell CS, then toss on full Iratha's, Twitch, Shard, 3-Socket PDia Shield, 2 Magic FCR Rings, and some FR/LR Boots and ride the XP wave until your Chanter is ready. And like Goomba suggested, stick a point into Teleport so that you're not caught in the middle of a mob with no way out.
