Rushing questions

1) Could someone point me to an in depth explanation of the steps involved in rushing? I understand the concept, just not the detailed execution.

2) I see a lot of rushes offering their forge in return. I'm assuming that this is the forge in Act 4. I don't know the value of that forge. Is this a good trade? Is there any unique opportunity/loot I'd be giving up if I did this?

3) Could someone explain what a Glitch rush is? I've had it briefly explained to me, but I'm not sure if I fully grasp it.

Rushing.
Act 1- Kill Andariel.
Act 2- Get the Staff, Kill the Summoner, Kill Duriel
Act 3- Kill the Council. Kill Mephisto
Act 4- Kill Diablo. Forge only if it's part of the deal.
Act 5- If the character being rushed is 20+, Ancients. If not, find someone level 20+ that needs the quest, bring him into the game/find him, and kill Baal. Move on to the next difficulty.

Glitchrushing is just using a different level 20+ character (in Normal, at least. Nightmare is 40+) to get the Baal quest for a character that is lower than 20 and as such can't do the Ancients. It's a way to get level 1 characters into Nightmare and Hell.

Forges can drop valuable runes in Nightmare and Hell. That is why they are considered valuable.

act2-get cube, staff quest piece, amulet quest piece, kill summoner, kill durial
act3-kill travincal member, kill meph
act4-kill diablo (if your rushing, do forge, then diablo.)
act5-kill ancients, ask if they want baal dead.

2) hellforge is good because: in HELL hellforge, theres a xx% chance to get a good high rune. (main currency)

3)Grush: same steps as in part 1, except once you get to act5, theres a way to skip ancients. you do this by joining a game where they are killing "baal for quest" and you party up with the person who needs the quest and you wait in town while they kill baal. that person has to have killed ancients already. once baal is dead, you will have gliched past <difficulty>. then you do chaos runs (act4 diablo runs) till 20, then you cow till 25-26ish, then chaos till 80-85ish.

2 is technically incorrect as hell hf can only give up to gul which isnt considered a HR in most if not all realms. (HR is vex+)
however u can get good runes such as um - ist which are very tradeable (mostly mal and ist though)

It's just a quick way to get through all the acts with the minimal amount of effort. There's also glitch rushing but I really dont know how or what that involves as it didnt exist when I was playing 2+ years ago

You can rush your character using classic diablo. You wont need to do the ancients quest this way.

There is no fifth act in classic, so when you finish in act3 hell you can convert your level 1 character and I think he is in act1 hell LOD (he wont need to do the ancients). Or maybe he is in act3 hell LOD?
