When I killed Baal all of the public games became nightmare games. Can i join normal public games?

you can join them, you just cant see them.

So to see a Normal game you'll need to have a second character still in Normal look at the game list. Write down the name of a game you want to join then switch to your Nightmare character and you can then join the game. Same happens when you move to Hell.

You can of course always start your own game in whatever difficutly you wish.

You can join lower difficulty games however you will need an alt to see the games as you can only see current difficulty level games
