Yep, Ladder is the way to go. You'll find yourself :banghead: when you come to the point you want the Ladder-only runewords. Ladder seems to be the common talk around here too.

Ladder. If only for the likes of Spirit and Insight.

OMG I was just going to PM you about the thingy. How could you forget!
You're right, alright.
edit: only editing can save your face in this disaster
edit2: this concerns the OP. Don't post the same question in multiple threads. You did rephrase it a bit, but it's essentially the same. Regularly one will be eliminated by a mod.
thanks, and sorry about the double post, new to the forum =D. how's the economy on the ladder right now though? i started a non ladder pally just to check it out quick and joined one of those free item games cuz i was bored and
there were like ebotd and coh and stuff on the ground... which just doesn't seem that much fun.

Essentially that's not a double post (that is when two consecutive posts in the same thread are yours). Nevermindthat, the economy has settled again just like last ladder. So essentially the reset was a joke (couple of threads about that in the Comm-forum). It didn't change anything.
Naturally it's no fun when you get the high-end gear at the start. The fun is in finding it for yourself or trading for it. I totally abandoned my last account as everything was transferred to non-ladder at the reset. I'm re-doing the whole thing again and I like it.

Since the Ladder is still relatively new, prices will continue to change. Just jump in and roll with it.
And before I forget yet again....
Welcome to the forums.

thanks a lot for the help guys. i'm planning on starting a skele necro (necros were always my favourite!) and it seems like they're a cheap starting character. any comments or suggestions? is mfing with this sort of necro effective?

Yes it is. You can go all MF if you like. Just put the right synergies and skills in the right place. Goto Necro-forum for the build.
