Strafe/LF Zon Help

Hi I am currently planning on making a Strafe/LF zon to run WSK (baal), Chaos Sanctuary (maybe), countess, summoner, nihl, and Meph along with some T85 areas most likely. I just need some help on some gear and skill placement.

I am done at level 68, I plan on getting at least 80 before I start running, hopefully reach 90 soon thereafter, what should I do with the extra skills?

Gear

Weapons - Titans/WWS on switch (2x shael)
Helm - Andys (pDiamond or topaz)
Body - Viper Magi (Ptopaz)
Shield - Whitstan's Guard (pdiamon)
Belt - Razortail (anyone have one to trade haha)
Rings - 2x Ravens (natures peace for nihl)
Ammy - Highlords
Boots - Don't know
Gloves - don't know...
Charms - maybe anni and torch

Any ideas?

at least one into frozen arrow, a few into multi (it can help vs a pack of the mana drain LI's in sanc) up to 10 or so arrows is good, then i'd put as many as you can spare into penetrate. if you plan on having a ITD bow in the future, possibly put those points into a lf/cs synergy. here's what i did with mine. (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?p=5304673#post5304673) she's not really built for mfing, but she could kill anything, anywhere. the gear i have on her is a tad expensive, though. yours looks fine for the most part. it's what i'm working toward for my hybrid atm.

as for gear:
boots, wartravs
gloves, either 2jav/20ias (prefer with knockback) or LoH
shield, i'd honestly go for a different shield. if you're going to be pumping dex to get your bowside damage up (recomended) then you can use a buckler and get max block. maybe a splendor, lidless, or moser would work out better. if you have the str spirit is great too.

I totally disagree. Penetrate is useless. Just a month ago I ran the number from my amazon through an ar check and the result was stunning. I had about 300 dex and one not perfect raven as only source from hard points ar. About 7 points in penetrate. One additional point in penetrate had an effect of less then 0.4 extra cth, not counting in the level part that will never be bigger then 1. That part of the cth was already at 94%.

Dumping points in penetrate is useless, certainly with dual raven and high dex build as far as I'm concerned.

i should have added that since, though i've made more than a couple hybrids i usually wind up letting +skills increase penetrate. i was thinking for my new ladder one i may have to put into penetrate since she's running with only a few +skills.

dont waste points by any means, but also dont neglect it if you need it.

Well I am level 83 now, I have +12 to passives (slvl 17 valk, all others 1 in ea), +14 to java, CS and LF maxed, +12 to bows maxed strafe.

I have all of the gear listed above, but for gloves I have LoH. I have a problem though, my bow damage is lacking a lot, I only do from 100-500 damage. This really hurts because I have run into a lot of LIs. Any advice? I'm planning on upping my WWS now that I got an ist from HF, any other things I should do.

I also have 11 skill pts to spend, but I'm not sure what I'll do with those yet.

Save the Ist or trade it for very good equipment. I wouldn't trade it to get an extra Pul to upgrade your WWS. You'll find or get a Pul eventually and be able to upgrade your WWS. If you need to mow down LIs, make a Harmony, which has high elemental damage and a lot of kick to it. Harmony is "Tir Ith Sol Ko." The hardest one to get is Ko, but it can be found in hell or traded for a few perfect gems on the trading forums. Make the Harmony in a 4-socket Ward or +1-3 Matriarchal Bow and you should be set. I use my Harmony on my Witchyzon to kill PIs, as my Amp doesn't always cut it.

Oh yes I don't know why I said "since I found an ist" I have 40 pgems for a pul anyway. I think I might just get a WF, would that work better? I will go and check out the harmony also, thanks :)

wf has more damage, however, you are loosing some important things switching away from wws. You have high customibility, and nice IAS if you want, ias and wf are a problem. You have 3 decent skill on the bow itself, and with only 1 point, you get your strafe where you want it. Botting will be resistant to you. and you get res on top of that.

I think wws should be good enough. I'm wondering where you put your stat points. It might be wise to get higher dex for both max block and more damage for the wws. So changing the wistans for a low block shield with other good mods might be a good idea if you still have stat point left to get max block.

P.S. if you really decide to stay with wws, upping it will increase your damage nice.
P.P.S. note that 100-500 come to 180-900 with dw and to 360-1800 with amp.
