couple light sorc questions

can a light sorc with an infinity merc kill lightning immune monsters? what is good damage for a light sorc? and what is better for a light sorc, spirit or 20/20 light shield? thanks for any answers.

1. yes, high lvl conviction can break immunities but their resist might still be high,
2. 12K plus?
3. spirit for the mods like resist, fcr, skills, mana, etc.

some will still be immune , bosses
iirc so have mine ~40k light damage , but that can still be improved
a 20/20 isnt that good , +20 isnt added to total damage , only to base , see it as an extra mastery lvl
-20 do work quite good , not at full power though on immunes , forgot how much
ist not , imo , better that spirits advantages though
dont forget lightnings diffrent fcr table , 78 and 117 fcr as the most common to aim for

The only bosses which will remain immune are the Light Immune/Light Enchanted.

Actually, after the immunity is broken by an infinity weilding merc, the -res from facets, etc, does apply fully. This is why crescent Moon sword + Griffons can be so deadly.

if u make pvp with ur light sorc, u need ~230 dex and whistans against the meelys. for casters i use liedless cuz of the fastercast rate. in pve the sorce rox and still make ~31k+ dmg. u can still sox ur rbf in ur helmet or armor.

Would a build using a crescent moon sword, Griffons helm and Phoenix shield work to max out the -res?, maybe with an up'd vipermagi and 2xfcr rings?

Phoenix is -Fire res though, so it would be kinda pointless. Griffons, Crescent Moon, plus facets would be the way to max light res. Combine with an infinity wearing merc, and behold the doom of all.
