I know that this is already a moderately popular question, but because I think my situation is a bit different than most, I thought I'd ask anyway...
So, I'm wondering where the "best" (it's relative, I know) place to spend my last few skill points on my summon druid. I'm currently level 81 playing HC ladder just starting act 2 hell (mostly just 1-player games, but sometimes 2-3 if my friends are around), and I've spent my skills to this point on what you'd expect (max HoW, max Dire, max Grizzly, max Spirit Wolf, 1 WW, 1 Lycan, 1 WB, 1 Maul, 1 Shockwave, 1 to Summon pre-req's). From what I've read in the guides and random posts here, it seems like I have a lot of choices for the rest of my skill points. Here are my thoughts on each...
Poison Creeper - The damage doesn't appear to be huge, so I get the impression that this is basically just preventing monster heal. I don't really plan on fighting ubers or d-clone with this character, so is this necessary? I feel like this skill could be a waste for me.
Ravens - Seems like the purpose of these is simply to blind. Using shockwave as one of my primary skills, blinding seems a bit redundant if everything around me is always stunned.
Shockwave - Seems like a decent option, but even with just lvl 8 Shockwave, the stun length is almost 6 seconds, which has so far been more than enough for me to keep everything stunned. Could be a waste, from what I can tell.
Oak Sage - Tempting, especially as a HC char, but I worry that I'll never use it. HoW seems to be working well for me, and I'm not sure I'd want to give it up for Oak. In reality, I don't get hit a whole lot anyway, so it would basically be just for my merc (as I can easily recast my bear) and really I don't mind resurrecting him every now and then.
Lycanthropy - This is what I'm leaning towards. It would basically just be a bit of a life bonus, and although I don't get hit much, I think it would give me a bit of a buffer. It looks like I'd get the same life bonus per skill point as I would with Oak Sage, but I'd get the bonus while being able to still use HoW. My only concern would be my merc, but other character classes are able to keep their mercs going fairly well without Oak Sage, right?
Anyway, let me know what you think. Are my opinions way off the mark? Is there an obvious choice here? Any input is appreciated.
P.S. Another quick summon druid question... is Reaper's Toll my only real option for dealing with Physical Immunes? Or is there something else out there that I'm missing?
