Chance for a 3os tiara of speed

I'm looking for a d2 genius that can give me the probability of finding an aritsan's tiara of speed. I'm thinking about trying to cube a magical tiara with pgems until i can finally get one. i was thinking about going to the gambling route, but mfing and selling the items i find to make gold seems like it would just take too long. what would be the best way to find one and what are the chances i have of doing so? thank you

Re-rolling it is going to be pretty rare. Because the Tiara has a magic_lvl, combined with it's qlvl, it'll always have an alvl of at least 83, much higher than the two affixes you desire (Artisan's alvl is 25, of speed alvl is 29). Not much you can do about it but it will result in alot of additional affixes being open to you.

The odds of you re-rolling an Artisan's Tiara of Speed with an ilvl of 70 or less is 1:28,136. The odds of you re-rolling an Artisan's Tiara of Speed with an ilvl of 99 is about 1:33,165. In other words, go for a low ilvl Tiara.

Finding one of a creature is the same as above, except you also need the creature to choose to drop a Tiara, and then you have the above chance after that.

Now, you need to remember though that in your case you probably don't care whether it's an Artisan's Tiara or a Jeweler's Tiara, but the calcs above are specifically for an Artisan's Tiara.

Gambling it is going to be worse, alot worse. Even with a clvl 99 char the odds of you gambling such a Tiara would be about 4 times worse than re-rolling. I wouldn't rely on this method to get it.

Re-Rolling a Tiara would be the "best" way to get it, but by no means would it be quick.

the only thing is i have no idea how u can check the ilvl of an item. like you said i would need to find one with ilvl 70 but how do i know if it's ilvl 70?

The ilvl of an item is equal to the mlvl of the monster that dropped it. In the case of shopped items, the ilvl is equal to clvl of the shopper + 5. If it's a gambled item, then the ilvl randomly between clvl - 5 to clvl + 4 of the gambler.

Shoppings out of the question for you, so you'll need to either gamble for one to reroll, or find one off a monster. For monsters, you could harvest monsters who mlvl is 70 or less, which isn't possible, as the lowest monster capable of dropping one is mlvl 74 I believe.

With regards to the gambling, then you'll want to use a char who is at least 65, though you have like a 0.01% chance of upgrading a Tiara. If you gamble with say a clvl 75 char, you have anywhere between a 1% to 9.1% chance of upgrading a circlet or coronent to a Tiara, depending on the ilvl roll, which would be between ilvl 70 and 79.
