hello..
let's say you curse a group of monsters lower resist, and then made a successful poison dagger attack with 100% ctc "hit causes monsters to flee", would the poison dmg inflicted still be under the pierced resists nature of the lr curse, or not due the ctc htmf?
if it's the former, would the monsters' dmg received over time still be under the influence of pierced resists or reverted to its original?
sorry if i didn't express it correctly, but for those who understand, any explanations are welcome.
thx=)
The lowest amount of -poison resist will always take effect: if you have -poison resist on switch, switch to it and back, the -poison resist will still have effect.
Hope I cleared it up...
ohhhh..
You are asking if the poison damage will still have the effect of LR right? because hcmf=terror curse and overrides LR

The monster will be poisoned at their lowered poison resist value, and the poison will continue to deal the same amount of damage for its entire duration. As an example: If you have a Lower Resist that gives -100% poison resist (I know it's impossible, I'm just making an example), and you have a Poison Dagger that deals 10 damage per second and 100% HCMTF, when you hit you will apply your poison dagger at a rate of 20 damage per second (because the monster has -100% poison resist), and the poison will continue to deal that amount of damage for its full listed duration (actually, longer, since lowering monster resistances increases the duration of your poison). The fact that the lower resist is overwritten makes no difference (although if you re-attack the monster, the attack will be made without the benefit of lower resistance).
A fun little oddity that results from this is that it's possible to cast Lower Resist on a poison immune monster, break their immunity, attack, overwrite LR with another curse, and then stand around and watch while a monster listed as "Poison Immune" dies to poison damage.
If you have any other questions or need me to clarify or provide more examples, feel free to ask.
