Question in regards to IAS and Fanat

Yes, I know it's been beat into the dust. My question involves the German calculator. I plan to use a Faith merc, and the only non-zon Faith I have is a pitiful level 12 Fanaticism. When I punched in the level 12 Fanaticism and 20 IAS(I plan to use Ice) on a Matriarchal, it claimed I needed no IAS for 3 frame Strafe. I found this odd. Am I looking past something? Perhaps the initial strike is very slow at that point? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hm, I don't know if I understand your question correctly.

For a 8/2 Strafe with a Matriarchal Bow you only need 20 IAS no matter if the Fanat is Level 12, 13, 14 or 15. So yes you don't need any more IAS for Strafe. Of course, if you are under Fanat aura only (no IAS at all), you'll shoot a 3 frame Strafe; a mere 20 IAS will bring you to max speed at 8/2.

For normal attack (animation also used for Freezing Arrow), with a Level 12-13 Fanat you'll need 50 IAS to shoot at 7 fpa with a Mat Bow. With a Level 14-15 Fanat you'll need only 45 IAS.

As you can see, the Level of Fanat makes almost no difference for Matriarchal Bow users so don't be bothered about your Level 12 Fanat. 45-50 IAS is most you'll ever need for 7fpa normal attack, and 20 IAS for max speed strafe.

That's precisely what I was looking for. You guys are the reasons I've made this my home-away-from-home.

Basically if I ever come up with my Ice Matriarchal, I can load up on MF gear :)
