Dual Faith and Level 30 Fanaticism ?

What's happening if my Amazon wears a Faith bow with Level 15 aura, and I hire an Act1 mercenary and give her a Level 15 Faith bow too ? Will I benefit from a Level 30 Fanaticism aura :scratch: ?

I'm sure you wouldn't because you aren't stacking them yourself. I see it as no different then if you had a level 9 fanat and the merc had a level 15 fanat. The mercs would override yours in that case. Just because they are the same level, I would see no reason why the formula would change and they would suddenly stack, however, I also don't know which would override the other.

AFAIK,the auras only stack when you put 2 of them on yourself(or your merc)

I think the only way to stack Fanaticism is a Barb holding dual beasts.

Well, we've all agreed that they wouldn't stack; the real question is (not as if it matters) which aura overrides the other if they are both the same level? Or do they both run independently without stacking? That was my question at the end of my post.

They will both run independently.

Now what would happen if you equipped dragon(lvl 14 holy fire) shield and armor, and added hand of justice(lvl 16 holy fire) weapon. Would only the two dragons stack, or would all three(resulting in lvl 44 holy fire)?

All 3 would stack.

IIRC, any identical auras (not in level but in skill) provided by gear will stack.

ex: Dream Helm + Shield or Dragon Armor + HoJ + Dragon Shield.

However your auras will not stack with those of another player or hireling. Nor will (only in a pally's case) an aura from a piece of gear stack with a selected aura.

ex: Bramble Thorn's + Paladin Thorns Aura DO NOT STACK.

The higher level overrides the other.

Merc would override yours, and since fana gives higher ed to user then to party you'd get a party bonus and your merc the full bonus, aka your dmg gets lower then if your merc don't use faith.

Does a higher level fanat really override any lower level fanat though? Because if someone else is using level 21 fanat and you are using level 20 fanat, and you are given the level 21 fanat your damage would go down because fanat's damage bonus is halved if it comes from someone else.

The higher level fana should override the lower, yes. I remember doing a test with this on battle.net before with another zealot.
