Can a light sorc do MINI ubers?

I've got several full key sets. Are light sorcs able to do mini ubers? Doing a search for both mini and ubers only brings up discussions on ubers, and the extremely expensive uber build :P

u can kill the minions, but the bosses are a pain and near impossible. ur merc dies fast and they start rushing you with no tanker..

much easier to use a 1pt smiter

I love light sorcesses my favourite sorc but they SUCK against bosses/single targets they're strength lies in big groups where they're CL bounces of everything not large targets i'm not sure if a merc would survive alot longer if it had a source f lifetap though. worth trying i suppose but definetly don't do it unless u have a tried and tested character to fall back on if it all goes pear shaped.

never tried to do with an sorc (caster) and never really want to since i think quote above says it all :jig:

the only sorc that has a hope of killing all the bosses is a melee-sorc that is fire based and has a few lite tree distribution. uber meph is lite immune with a conviction aura that cancels an infinity ...so if ur torch running you have no choice but to create another toon ..sorry

Leveling/gearing a uber smiter is a lot easier than gearing a sorc to do the ubers, IMO.

Doing the mini Ubers with a light sorc is not a good idea. All three have 75% lightning res, all three have lots of life and life regeneration and all three will kill your merc pretty fast. Izual could probably be done from the other side of a river, but it would take ages, the other two would just chase you, without you really damaging them. If you do them with a light sorc, this sorc will definatly not be budget, so better go for a smiter with life tap.

I wasn't looking for an uber killer. Just minis, for organ sets :)

My lightning assasin can kill 2 of the 3 mini's much quicker and safer than my 1 point smiter, but the 3rd mini uber she cant do and the smiter has to put him down.

I think you'll find the same thing with a sorc, 2 of the bosses will be cake, and one just wont budge in the HP dept. :smiley:
