There are a lot of weapon guides here, but none that really help me as I am facing a difficult choice, and it doesnt only involve weapons.

At the moment I use upped shaeled ribcracker, wich is one one hell of a weapon.

Merc has a reapers, wich is a decent weapon but with the nice decrep CTC that makes me able to handle a lot of the PI's I encounter.

Up until now I had a duriels on me and a duress on Merc, because I needed CBF.

But now I have gotten hold of both a raven and a tomb reaver so the duress is now on me and merc has the duriels, but what should i do with the tomb?

I really like the tomb, and I really like the cracker, I like the reapers because of the LL and CTC.

The faster hit and 100% defense on the cracker is sweet to, but 31 all res and 2 open sockets on the tomb is nice to, dmg is almost exactly the same.

Aside from that I use Gaze, String, Soul drainer, crap boots and the left over ring and amu I have tried to go all resists, I do have a torch and some nice res charms but I am still hurting there.

I would really like to be able to eat the cake and keep it in this scenario.. ;)

I can hold my own in hell no problem in either setup, even made a couple of rushes with 3 players no sweat.

But I have now reached a point were the differences is so subtle I have a hard time making them out, so I am asking for advice from more experienced players.

Perhaps get a jalals, put the Gaze on merc?

Still dont help me with weapon choice though.

/edit

I was incorrect about dmg.

Rib with fury is 2900-4300
Tomb is 1300-4300

I can help you with your helm gear. Toss that Gaze to merc and use Jalal's, absolutely the best helm for werewolf imo. FHR, Res, +4 ss skills, str and 20%ar! socket it and put some nice res jewel or something else you're lacking.

PvM Ribby is going to be better. The CB is what makes it deadly. However, if you're hurting that bad for Res you COULD Shael Ber the Reaver and have something that compares to the Ribby as well as makes decoys for you. Don't change the Reapers on your merc, ever :P

Ye, the reaper on the merc stays, tried without it and I just do not know how I managed before, hehe.

I am trying to MF with this one as of now and am running countess/andy/pits with ease, even after switching the string for a goldwrap, gonna have to so see I can push my MF before I start dying.

Doing anything else the rib is superior in all respects, I have a defense merc and ribby alone moves me from 6.5k def to 10k.

As of now I found a rockstopper, a bit of DR and quite a bit of resists, and my merc got the gaze, we shall see how that turns out.

Dont really need the LL but I do need the ML so time will tell.

The Tomb is double shaeled now, I do not have access to a ber and I doubt I will anytime soon.

The duress adds 15%CB though and allthough not much my speed is enough to make it count, for now.

When and if I find a jalals I will prolly switch to it, had it in old ladder and I did like it.

Last time around I used the windhammer though and I could still do both DC and ubers, allthough beit with a lot of work.

This one I feel is surpassing my old one allready but I am being more careful in how I invest this time around, so thanks a lot for taking your time to answer my questions.

This is ladder BTW so resources are thin.

Stick to the ribby, ya just like you stated, and everyone else stated. Sorry its like the first thing that came to my head. Keep mfing as well. I would look into charms and funds for top end items. Helms to keep a eye out for 4 skilled bite, jalals, guilhams face, and cirlets with plus to shape or all druid skills with run/walk on them and +stats.

ring and amulet wise, Ive all ways loved anglics. If you only have 1 ravenfrost. I would get a anglic amulet and ring. Just for the unneeded ar, and the 75 plus to life.

If your resists are low, try using a treachery armor theyre cheap to make. And that level 15 fade really helps out.
