Martyr build still viable?

I remember seeing a guide for a Martyr pally (uses Sacrifice as main attack) a few years ago here, but it's not on the list in the builds thread. Is it still around, or has it just become extinct?

I build a Matyr using that older guide last season and it worked pretty darn well up until Hell. At that point I could not leach enough to make it work.

The quick answer is it's very viable provided you have MASS leach and some +to life after kill
It suffered from the problem my avenger did, which is great damage to a single target but little in the way of crowd control
