Dreamer Question

Hi guys, I'm planning a PvP dreamer with smite as main attack (don't tell me that's wrong i'll do it anyway). Alright here's my question: I took my little pally - lvl 8 by now:smiley: - and was just playin' around in act1 normal. Anyway i put one point in Holy Fire (as a prerequisite) and started to smite. So now to the real problem; holy fire didn't add damage to Smite but it did to my normal attacks (NOTE: not just in damage screen it just didn't add damage!), so will Holy Shock granted from Dreams add damage?!

No, elemental damage of any type does not transfer through smite.

An auradin smiter: 20 smite
20 holy shield
20 fanaticism
20 resist light
rest of the points into conviction
From this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY068h8jmVsbuild. movie I see he has 6soket phase blade with 5/5 light facets,I dont know if the -res/+dam from this sword applies to aura pulses or only to melee damage.
gear:dream helm-shield,dracs or bloodfist,arach,highlords I think,raven-bk,gores...on swich grief pb+exile or spirit for fcr.
