About Lightning Bolt

Howdy!

I was just reading the description on this skill - transforms 100% physical into lightning damage - and started to wonder... If it hits, does it carry over anything such as Crushing Blow or Open Wounds?

How about regular thrown javelins and poison/plague ones, do they carry CB with them? (I'd imagine they did, yes).

Any response would be appreciated, thanks!

AFAIK, CB is not carried by Lightning Bolt, but is by Lightning Fury, because it really has a component of physical damage. Should work also for Poison/Plague aswell as normal throw, but only if you hit physically(AR check). LF doesn't check for AR on the other hand...

Ah thank you. I was trying to build a completely ranged javazon (without CS or any bow skills) and for boss killing she'd rely on Lightning bolt and possibly any CB attached to it.

However if there's no CB, the lightning damage it offers is just too low to consider :/

one thing happens when you change physical to light damage, all light damage modifiers are activated. Griffons/facets/everything
