I'm having trouble with my Sac/Smite/Zeal gear change this season, since I have no Shaftstop, String (traded it early), Gores, chance at a HoZ, or anything that'll allows me to survive act four nightmare. I went all the way to the forge on Iratha's since I'm playing with a Furyzon, but there's no way I can risk the Chaos Sanctuary without Passion.
Last season I used a small crescent, since it's strength requirement was the same for Guillaume's Face. I thought the gear selection I had was perfect, but don't have that luxury right now. I've seen the threads suggesting caducei and phase blades, and I luckily have the latter with no known alternate source of IAS, save Fanaticism (which will give me MAS). I also have Rockstopper, so I can cut the strength out and wear the blade while getting 75% blocking, but don't even have a decent shield.
Should I go with the phase blade and Rockstopper? If so, which other gear choices do I have?
Should I wait and play my hammerdin magicfinder more hoping to come up with trade stuff (if not the actual items), while crafting in the mean time?
