I'm a level 77 Summoner on Single Player and I'm gonna be starting hell soon.

I've got a Lidless Wall at the moment.

What should I try and mf for and where?

Mostly just looking for more plus skills...or could I Imbue a head at charsi in normal and get a good on for now?

You could also make a Rhyme or Splendor in a head with the skills you use.

Yeah if I ever find a head with +3 to raise skeleton and skeleton mastery...

But so far I can't find any with those mods at all they seemed to drop out of existance.

By the way whats the most likely place to mf a homoculas? Since that'd be my end game shield most likely and would give wonderful boosts to my stats.

I haven't tried it, but have heard that runewords for shields do not work in necromancer heads. Maybe someone could verify this?

As for mfing a better option, I'd do some NM baal walks (I assume as a skelemancer you'd rather walk than skip worldstone 2-3). NM Baal isn't necessarily the best place to find homonculus, but you can certainly level quickly up to about 75, and he could drop a homonculus, and most other exceptional, as well as a few elite uniques. Keep in mind an imbue rerolls any skills on a head that you use- so just look for superior heads, as that's all that will be retained.

Yes you can runeword a necro head. I have a superior Unraveller Head i socketed with the quest and then put Splendor into... the problem was finding the thing... i settled for +2 bonespear. I think found mine while doing normal cow runs, but it could have been nightmare cows... don't remember.

If im not mistaken (i.e. if i can remember correctly last time i looked at the atma drop calcs) the most likely place to find a homonc is NM Baal... i found mine w/ my old char @ Hell Mephie tho, which also has got good odds.

EDIT: sorry, euroeric already said about NM baal. But yeah if you can wait for end of act 3 hell to do runs, its worth it, i personally hate running baal.
