Best things you've gotten from gambles?

This is a thread where you can post your best findings from gambling, I havent actually found anything too usefull since I don't really gamble too much but it would be interesting to see what you've got!

I got a circlet last ladder that was +2 sorc, 18 all res, 18 strength, 4x life. Wish it had fcr on it, too. I've heard of some godly +2/res/life/stats/fcr happening, and magic +3 skill tab/fcr is great too. It's important to have at least a low 90's character to gamble with in order to have a chance at the +2 skill mod though

Back in the days of classic, I gambled at least 40 or so SOJs.:grin:

Since then, I've gambled quite a few nice rare circlets, rings, and amulets (skills, resists, fcr, str/dex, etc) but no notable uniques.

My friend gambled a (24?) maras last week...lucky. :laugh:

I've gambled a lot of nice Rings, Amulets and Circlets. The best ones aren't the very few uniques I've gambled, but rather magic/rares ones. Here are some examples, from my NL inventory :

I'm just happy to know it is possible to gamble a unique/set item. I can't tell you how much I've spent gambling rings and amulets, and while I've found a few nice rares, I've never got a unique or set amulet. I'm fully aware that the odds are very low, but I haven't seen even one in the thousands I've gambled.

I pretty sure someone on the SPF gambled a Stormlash a while back.

The only thing that matters is your characters level. When you gamble an item, it's ilvl becomes somewhere between -4 and +5 of your character level. Say you are level 80 and you gamble a amulet. It's ilvl would now be either 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84 or 85. If you want to gamble a specific jewelry iem, you just need to make sure that the ilvl of the item you gamble equals or is higher than the ilvl of the specific piece of jewelry.

If you are looking for Stone of Jordans, you would need to make sure the ilvl of the gambled item is at aleast 39. So you would need a level 43 character to do so. Maras Kaleidoscope has an ilvl of 80, so level 84 is required to make sure all amulets gambled can become a Maras. Tal Rashas has an ilvl of 26, so you would need a character of level 30.

Gambling for specific uniques is relatively stupid, since the odds are astronomically low. You're better off gambling for rares and magic items and just take any uniques showing up as a unlikely present. :thumbsup:

Best items I've ever gotten are +3 skill tree amulets and circlets. Those are all I gamble for. My casters like them.
