Shield for a Zealot?

I have another thread about the weapon, but I decided to make a new one for the shield.

Since my sword probably will be an 'Oath' (eth?) 4os berzerker axe, my budget won't allow any HoZ or similar. If I had to set a max value I'd say around um.

Any input appreciated, Please help me =)

I think untill you can afford higher a SS would work good.Or even a paladin spirit.

Scantuary (ko + ko + mal) or spirit or even a 4 diamond shield.

IMO, SS is the top Zealot Shield (OVER HoZ, as +skills aren't too much added to a Zealot.)
Alma Negra is a pretty decent alternative, as is Sanctuary. I still prefer SS

Why not Exile? More defense is always nice.

Any of the cheaper unique shields could probably do the job well enough, and they should all be relatively cheap.
A lance guard could be a good choice because of it's DS.
Otherwise a semi-decent base shield spirit should be good.
