Problem with hammerdin?

I made a hammerdin and he has about 1.2k life and 75 all resists. whenever i run nightmare baal, the last group of minions take almost all my health in 1 hit. i dont understand this, since i have a lot of life and resists. any help?

what's his level, block rate, defense and gear? If you defense and block rate isn't high enough, MoDs' chance to hit you will be all the greater. Also consider getting cta if possible..your life seems a little low, but that might just be because of your level/gear. It would help if you tell me your stat point distribution as well.

Also, where are you standing? MoD's are quite strong and have stun + knockback, so you don't want to stand in the middle of them unless you have really godly gear.

Nah, your HP is high enough. It's not even Hell mode. If you play your Hammerdin right, those MoDs shdn't even get close to striking range without getting whacked on the snout by a hammer... But if you need help, I hear downing purple bottles work.. :grin:

my hammerdin has 1.2k life, about 1-30 all res and easily cleans any wide area in hell, like cowlevel or chaos sanctuary. no godly gear either.
