Enigma-less pvp pure bone?

Recently i've been having a lot of fun dueling, despite the fact that my chars are all geared for PvM. I've decided i want to work my way into the world of PvP, and necros are of course the coolest characters. Every guide i seem to read says Enigma is a must, are PvP bone necros viable at all without Enigma? I'd love to make a pure bone necro, and sure i have an mfer (clvl80 pit runner), but I just don't think I can afford to make an Enigma :(

Well maybe I'll keep trying to find those runes. Also, I just found Ume's Lament (<333 shenk) +2 necro, 20 fcr, +40 mana, sound like a decent starting wand?

not bad on a budget, but id try to find a wand with +spear/+spirit and make White (dol io) in it

Bone shade is a pretty GG wand.Well I am actually making a FRW boner for pvp.when hes done ill tell you how it works out.

I'm thinking of this, I already have both of those runes...can you do a White in that kind of wand? I thought you could only make runewords in plain old socket items, no skills? So if that's possible, what's the best way to come about one of those, buy a +spear + spirit wand and sock quest it?

No, you don't want to buy a wand, as those will be blue items, not white items. Find an already socketed but not magical (or no sockets but not magical) wand with as high too Bone spear, and or spirit and then socket it and make a white wand. Basically, if the item wand is grey (socketed) or white when you put your cursor over it, you can make the White RW in it, even though it has skills. You can also make shield RWs in Heads, as long as they are white as well. The ideal theoritical wand for white would have +3 Bone Spear, +3 Bone Spirit, +3 bone Prison, but who has one of those? +3 Bone spear can be good enough.

Act 2 norm merchants will sell non magical bone spear wands, though non magical bone spirit wands cannot be shopped.

Just make sure its a Bone wand, and not a normal Wand or Yew Wand, as those two can only have 1 socket.

So just look at the Bone Wands at Drogan, what I always do. Once you find one you like, buy it and use the socket quest on it.

Woooo made a white! +5 spear, +3 PnB, 20 FCr. Not too bad. Hopefully pits give me something worth a jah or ber, no luck yet though :cry:
