Hey, I've been having problems with a 2-3 second screen freeze with sound loop. Ive tried reinstalling the sound drivers, video card drivers, cleaning ram and video/sound card, even reinstalling the game numerous times. Since I play hardcore, this is a big deal. Even Counter Strike:Source gets 60-70 steady fps...... anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

That worked! It isn't 100% cured, but it definetly cut down about 70% of the freezeups, I guess the rest is just apart of playing on BNET. Thanks a bunch!
