1. Blizzard really should do something about all the hacks floating around, and stop punishing legit players by temp-banning them when joining games too fast. That's pathetic.

2. Apparantly, a few moments ago - there was a database reset. I lost King Leorics arm that I traded for, and also the Pgems which I used to pay for it. GJ Blizzard, this never happened back when Diablo II was new.

3. I was afk in Lut Gholein (Hardcore Europe) and got killed by some magical dandy hocus pocus dude outside town. That's really just slick! Bye bye 76 Necro.

Perhaps if Blizzard got their act together and fixed stuff like this, people could play again. This is especially valid for Hardcore players who lose everything when they die.

It's unlikely that Blizzard will invest the time (and cost) to fix Diablo2, especially with not only the other games that they have running. After all D2 is an old game. You should be thankful that it's still supported and that you have had not one but two content patches already. If you still want to play the game, then the sensible choices are to play SP, as stated here - we do have a healthy SP community here on these forums. Also, you can remain on the closed realms and make use of our Player Matchup Forum to find trustful allies. They are out there...

blizzard is now devoting all their time and energy into getting d3 onto the store shelves for us....why would they bother fixing d2?

i agree with this.. even tho im still wishing that blizzard would care more. crap happens when playing in realms, thats just one factor of the game

Heh, I love when I go on Baal runs, and while Baal has JUST THAT SLIVER of health left, the game drops..... always a good time.

This may be a good time to ask this question:

What is it that can cause this?.... heres some scenarios I hear online that people say causes games to crash out

A) Summoner necs and their god-blessed army of undead
B) In Chaos runs I heard a guy say that a bowazon with a torch was causing game crashes
C) Smiters with torches I heard are issues

I'm not sure if any of this is REALLY true, but it seems to me, that the more people you have in one room, all casting spells, using torches, and melee'ing, the more often the game has a chance of dropping.

That's just a lot of stuff going off

I get two types of lag, server side and software side.

Your freezing spikes are software side.
