Smiter IAS req with grief zerk?

Are there any ias requirements using a grief zerk? could the requirements be posted with and without fanatacism please. thanks


extra question:

smiters aren't tight on skill points right? Very flexible? So it's okay that I, um, put an extra point into holy bolt by accident =(

Without fanaticism:

0 %___11
11 %__10
26 %___9
48 %___8
86 %___7
180 %__6

The first number is how much ias % you need to hit the smite break point and the following number is what fps smite bp you hit with the ias. Smite breakpoints are in fps. 6 fps smite is the fastest possible, however is almost impossible to reach without fanaticism.

With 20 level fanaticism:

0 %___8
18 %__7
54 %__6

Grief gives you 30-40 ias. With little ias from your gear (24-14) you can hit the fastest smite break point easily.

Would be easier to count how much ias you need from gear if you tell how much ias your grief gives and what is your fanaticism level.

Yes, smiters usually have few spare points. 1 point in hb is not big loss.

Deadly strike doesn't work with smite, so only good mods from gores are ow and cb. Cb is nerfed alot in pvp and isn't that usefull. Leave gores for your zealot.

Water walks and treks are both good boots. Go check the fhr break points from guides section and make sure you hit at least 48% fhr breakpoint. If you get that without treks go with waterwalks, if not go with treks.

edit: well if i chose to use my 32/397 griefz i'd have to use highlords.
mara's > highlords right? so should i use my 40/347 instead? which combo would be better?

On my v/t's I use a 40%ias zerk and bloodfist and mara's. You could always just use the 40/347 for now and try to trade for a better one.
