View Full Version : 39 charger to Baalruns?
Recently picked this (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2001277056555331744) off Andy, and was wondering if it packed enough punch to down some people in normal baalruns? Is it worth building around? :/
Never really been into chargers, thus the need for advice :hanky:

No, it's not worth building around. 39 is way too high to terrorize normal baal runs.

You could try making an eth insight lvl 27 charger. I seriously doubt people belive you are capable of TPPK'ing at that lvl, but it's fairly certain they chicken anyway.
I wouldnt build a normal baal pker around it, but if you want to make a level 39 charger to duel casters or PK nm baals, thats a decent choice. An eth headstriker is better as it lets you use a shield and gives huge DS%, but the flat out damage on that thing is hard to beat sub-40. I say toss something cheap-ish together around it and have some fun with it.

Anyone with half a brain will gtfo when a 39 Pally hostiles their normal Baal run, but there are plenty of idiots out there... it's the D2 version of natural selection.

I can't even get people to stay in the throne when I host with my 21 pally, so I bet you'd have even better luck at 39. Though with that weapon you could make it less obvious, I don't really have much of a choice but to sport max jewels everywhere to do enough damage, with one of those you could do a better job of posing as a hammerdin.
Even so... 39 pally = I doubt anyone's staying.

Don't even think about pk'ing a baalrun on nm, even less hell. It's a wasted effort. Everybody is such a sissy that about 25% use auto chicken, another 25% will S&E manual, 100% will go to town, and about 50% are TPPK'ers anyway.
And WiZ is right, I can't even get 7 lvl 40+ ppl to stay in a run when I hostile them with a lvl 18 assa on normal. I'm pretty much done with HC.
