Insight on a Prayer Merc

Does the Meditation from Insight pick up the Prayer synergy from the Merc? And if so about how much life per second are we talking here, say at level 90? My cold sorc's currently got an Insight/Defiance Merc since HF is fairly worthless for a cold sorc. Would Insight/Prayer give enough life to make it a better option?

yeb. How fast I don't know for sure. You can try searching for it, because if I recall correct, there must be a thread about this. Let's say life regen will be real fast

A HF merc is quite useful, even for a cold sorc, as both colds stack. Note the difference against Meph for example with just orb cold and orb cold + HF cold (it's quite a big difference).

Also, mercs don't get synergies as synergies only work with real points spent on a skill.

Insight on merc DOES synergize Prayer, since it's not a "normal" synergy.

It's about 40 life every 2 seconds, roughly equal to about 200 replenish life.
It's very useful, but with a HF merc you will still have higher survivability.
I find it makes MF runs faster as you don't have to keep buying or picking potions.
Your merc already replenishes about 130 life every 2 seconds.
Definitely combine it with max block.

If you take the prayer merc from normal he will hit the highest prayer aura ( 18 ) at level 75. Level 18 is equal to 21 life / 2 seconds, add 2 life for every +skill on the merc. Double that due to the bonus effect in meditation and you have a sweet life regeneration. All my sorcs make use of this, as sorcs have a crappy defense ( no use for defiance ), mine all do cold damage ( no use for holy freeze ) and I don´t want my merc to do a lot damage due to iron maiden ( no use for might ). Thorns is doing pitiful damage and blessed aim is hardly needed, as my merc lands enough hits and I don´t feel like whacking things with my weapon. Easy decision.
