I have a fair amount of experence with LLDing from my stay at lld101. I'll need alil more info from you to help.

What grouping did you decide to go into for lld? The most common are lvl 9 (12 for shapeshifting druids), lvl 18 and lvl 30.

You're pretty much stuck at 29 for a Bear since you'll be hurting for Shaels otherwise.

Rogue's bow has 50 on wep ias and is usuable at level 20, shealed would up you to 29 on level req, and give 70ias

60's shealed
crystal sword
Grim sythe are contenders too

of course at level 29 I'd use Steel driver with a sheal in it for 60 ias
my fireclaw bear leevel 66 has been using this since 29 , its recently been upgraded to a martel (level 34 to equip) ,. it pretty quick, maybe not pvp quick, but I havent seen a phaseblade drop.. this wep is quick on the fc side and does decent phy damage for leach

ps, If any of my fellow druids can help out a fellow bear on HCL east and offer up a plain or 60's pb for free or trade shoot me a pm, I'll be on tonight

Well, khalims will is more of a level 9-18 weredruid weapon I guess.
For level 29 a fc bear would like something with +skills, I reccomend good old viper.

I used Spirit Shroud >.>. That, SoJ, and Angelic combo.

And you'd be using a 1 Lycan build, max FC to it's fullest along with Fissure and place the remaining points into either FireStorm or Volcano.

Maulers are doable, in fact SmittySixTen has one here on east. They're a bit more charm dependent than fireclaws, as you'll need max/ar/life sc's to get decent damage output.

You're going to want to use a 6os 15% ed superior Naga. From there, you'll Shael it to reach your attack speed breakpoint, and any spare sockets should receive ed/max jewels. Your armor should be a(shopped) 3os lifer armor. It will be a magical armor(artisan's *** of the squid), and at level 30, 80 life is perfect. Stuff it full of max damage jewels. 24 max per jewel is perfect for level 30, but expect to pay dearly for these. You'll use bloodfists for the FHR and life. Your boots almost have to be Sander's in order to meet the strength and dexterity requirements on your other gear. Your two handed weapon switch is a 6os 15% ed superior Grim scythe. Use this liberally against any caster, but especially desynching hammerdins(they hate being hit from 1/2 screen away). Your belt is String of Ears. Keep the Death set belt in stash for dueling cold sorcs. Your amulet and rings are Angelics. You may wish to keep SoJ's and a 2 SS amulet in stash for prebuffing. Your charms will be a challenge. 15 lifers are standard, but you'll definitely be needing some with at least AR mods for dueling most paladins and barbs. It isn't the same thing, but if you ever want to see my 30 fury wolf, PM me here.

You thought LLDs were cheap? They can just as, if not more expensive, to make than HLDs

Monopoly

i know, but i thougt that if i made a non standard LLD it would become cheeper^^

Verashiden

Nope, still expensive >.>. Finding a nice helm in itself will cost you a small fortune.

Your definitely preffered over them sissy spell casting sorcies, We wont eat you if your visiting the grove. All bets are off if we catch you unshifted, or with that Ranger Dan chap. We bear's have a little more restraint, but you know how wolves love to chew on ears

Your like the blacksheep of the druid family , right behind wolf barbs.. :P

Yeah, you know we use to have pact with the barb's long ago, Even now they achieve a far greater dedication of "lycanthropy" (wolfhowl) and even get a second skill of ours , Feral rage.

harr. well im here to stay, so deal with it!

Barrynor

yeah well.... this is the fastest one at that level, and imho, one of the best setups as well. Its never going to be a damage monster, but its extremely fast, and has a lot of life. its a build that originated in 1.09 and did not change one bit as the Werebear basically stayed the same since 1.09. I s'pose you could exchange maul for fireclaws if you wanted, though I'd still advise to charge up maul and then use fire-claws so that you get the added stun.

----------------------------------------------------
The level 29 Werebear.

6 shael dimensional blade /crowbill(for a 5 fpa attack)
Bloodfists (30% FHR and 40 to life as well as 5 to minium damage)
Bladebuckle (stats boni and another 30% FHR)
CK boots or sanders boots (Stats +AR, I'd go with sanders)
max dam armor
max dam pelt with (pref) +3 WB, Lyc and Maul
Angelic rings//ammu or Maoim Ammy and two good rings with AR//stats//life and resist
Shael-Eth Grim shield (excep bone shield right?)

skills: Max Maul, split rest between lyc and WB as wanted. DONT waste points into oaks age (1 will do) as people will kill that if they are smart, and after the first point the life bonus is the same for oak as it is for lyc.

stats: selfexplanatory, str as needed and dex for max block.
charms: damage, life, and another 26% FHR for the breakpoint

At this point you have a werebear that has a 5 fpa attack (every hit, so he's a tad faster than a zealot), a 7 frame block animation and a 6 frame hit recovery. He has inbuilt stun so he'll most likely stun lock the enemy, massive life, CBF and decent damage. I've gone through various builds, but if you want to totally surprise anyone at level 29, this is the build. Nobody expects a fast, deadly Werebear at that level. Rack up some inertia small charms and you'll run like a rabid bear on speed as well. The only downside is that he can of course become a pretty expensive project. You might want to try and build it around goblin toe for 25% CB. Coupled with a 5 FPA speed, it will add some damage.

thx^^ i finaly got my bear settup^^
only one question actualy :O
why use a eth shield?

Verashiden
28-07-2007, 11:33
He means "Rhyme" Grim Shield

Monopoly
28-07-2007, 13:29
aha :P
if this is posible, can you rate this build from 1 to 10 where 10 is the best lld and 1 is a quillratt?

Forget bladebuckle on the bear. Go with String of Ears, or my wolf will eat your bear as an appetizer, looking toward sorcs and hammerdins for the main course. Just a tip. Also, I would as quickly as possible set aside 4+ hours to shop for an AToD(Artisan's Tower shield of Deflecting) and stuff maxers in it for quicker killing speed. If you're dying for Cannot be Frozen at any point, that's the one time you can throw on a Death's Sash. For now, Rhyme will be fine. I can't recall which realm you're on, any chance it's UsEast NL? If so we can spare sometime :)

the build was optimized for 1.09 HC, where we had more physical damage on any and all character. I preferred FHR above 10% damage resistance. Its your choice, really.
