I have been playing d2 for over 2 years now, however I am still a little bit noobish on a couple of things. I will rarely buy something online to help my character, but I get frustrated after not having a lot of MF to get exactly what I need. My question goes as this: I buy a unpermed ammy for my barb and I need to get it permed, how do I do this, or can I do this at all? I know you can do runes but not sure about the ammys or other items. Please help me with this answer and I ty all for reading this.

Perming is a myth.

There is no proof that the "perming" process does anything other than give players peace of mind. So I wouldn't worry about the amulet, Blizzard didn't run a ruststorm for the new ladder season so I severely doubt anything will happen to a MF amulet.

First of all ty for the quick reply to my question...I hope that my ammy doesn't "poof" when I finally get it. If it does "poof" I won't be crying over spilt milk, after all it's just another p.c. game not to get upset over. I have invested a lot of time into it, but I can use the game disk as a frizbee too. And yes Voorhees I am from Skowhegan, ME However I am not true "Skowtowner" or even a "Mainiac". I have only lived since Mother's Day of 2006, But it's been a lot of fun being here and I love the scenery.

If it's a dupe, you will lose it at some point.

Like previously said, perming is a myth, even if you do strip down to your skivvies and do a dance under the light of the full moon.
