According to Arreat Summit 1 Ko Rune + 1 Lem Rune + 1 Perfect Diamond + Exceptional Unique “Armor” = Elite Version of Armor. Does this only work with body armor or can you do it with gloves, hemls and boots?

According to Arreat Summit 1 Ko Rune + 1 Lem Rune + 1 Perfect Diamond + Exceptional Unique “Armor” = Elite Version of Armor. Does this only work with body armor or can you do it with gloves, hemls and boots?It works with all armor types. Note that it does not work on nonladder, just ladder and single player.
