hello everyone! i'm quite new to this game and i would like to know what patches are for? i am currently playing with D2X v1.07. i would like to know how to get the newest version. pls help me on this because all sites that i've visited so far doesn't contain information about v1.07. thanks a lot!

To get the latest version (v1.11b), just try to connect to Battle.net and it will be downloaded and installed for you automatically.

thanks for the info. i haven't really tried playing on battle.net because it's my first time to play this game. i've only played single player. but what about those downloadable patches on different d2 sites? what are they for?

what do i do next after i download the patch Mursilis? pls bare with me as i am really a newbie to this game. :)

Exactly. Then it will install and update DII on your PC. Once it is done you are upgraded to that patch.

They do that without asking you BTW. I wouldn't have said no, but I prefer to get asked about issues like these.
