Is there any way (asides from Zod'ing) for me to ensure that my eth items stay alive. I just got an eth Jalal's and it kicks *** but im afraid to use it and waste it (cost me 38 gems)

Eth and unique degrades without the use of a Zod. Only other option is a Merc, but he can't carry it. I have the same item btw. Pretty useless I guess.

Use it until it has 1 durability left, then stash it and pray for a Zod. Might as well get something out of the item...
