Timeouts

So... I've probably never been timed out before in my years of playing D2, yet in the recent two days I must have had at least a dozen timeouts. Just lost my second lvl 46 HC sorc to timeout -.-

Is there anything specific that causes this? Is there anything I can do? I already have all the D2 ports open and I repeat I have never ever had these timeout issues before yesterday. I'm playing from a very fresh full windows xp re-install, and I'm patched up to date. Could this be caused by my ISP?

edit: I have no background programs running while playing D2 and I'm playing in the 'right' realm.

It's probably just due to all the extra activity on the realms since the reset. I get timeouts occasionally now too...I've never really had them before either.

Though, it wouldn't hurt to check your internet connection to make sure you connecting at full speed.

Try running a virus/spy ware scan too...perhaps you have a little friend in the background that you don't know about.

I've been getting this a lot the past couple days myself. Luckily for me I don't play hardcore anymore.
