Hey guys, I haven't played d2 since SOJ was still the currency. Now i started again and wondering what the best weapon for a WW BvB, PvM, PvP Barb overall. Is the Sword still popular or has it changed? I just want 1 or 2 specific weapons and stick to it.

I like dual phase blade griefs because you dont need to rapir them:) but the range is only 2 so berserker axe is better for PVP.
EBotD great poleaxe(hit last WW BP with 60 ias from BotD) is king if you like 2H

I still use swords, and they are still the best option for all round imho.

You can use them either one handed or 2 handed, which can come in handy.

1h for pvp. in some cases 2h is better (vs hammer pallies).

for PVM, in most cases 2h is just way better due to the sheer damage you will do. but its also possible to dual wield with headstrike for 100% deadly strike.

If you want to go purely PVM, i suggest you go for pikes or polearms.

For pure pvp, you might want to consider axes, due to the fact that a berserker axe has the highest 1h dmg of all 1h weapons.

The best all round choise is still swords tho.
