Nah, Rozene will stay by my side until the end. What kind of end it will be...who knows?

Regarding Harmony...my merc is currently using Magewrath, and 4 sock double bow is all we have. Doesn't sound like a major upgrade. If we find a better base item for the RW...definitely an option.

Jaago got IMed couple of times and hit the monsters, but either his damage is low enough (or hp is high enough) to survive such spanking.

That means there are some good sides in rolling minimum damage roll on that Passion. :badteeth: It did scare the poops out of me, though. (pardon the pun)

I'm not sure what armour your 'sin has Lpr, but Lum = Smoke for armour... (back to BoS maybe?). Otherwise, Splendor seems ... meh... mediocre.

My 'sin has that 4 sock plate of whale you shopped. Some gems/jewels in the sockets to get high enough stats for the claws we found.

Splendor is out, because we are not using shields.

Down. We are at Glacial Trail wp now.

2 more game crashes at Arreat Plateau slowed us down: Lalalaa, dumdi dum, soooo fun. On first time we haven't found the wp yet, so we had to go through Frigid Highlands one more time (quickly, following the border of the area).

Thresh Socket hits surprisingly hard btw. Taking 2 hits without healing in between would have been too much I believe.

A lucky monster roll in Frozen River: cold mages, spearwomen and succubi. Not the cold immune, fast moving, cursing, annoying and dangerous succubi though. They were those nice stationary ones without silly immunities, so the 3rd charge of PS and Taunt pwned them totally. Ahhh. That felt good.

Glacial Trail wasn't as fun...yetis, serpents and frenzytaurs. Yuck. First we met a fanaticism-enhanced bosspack of frenzied bulls backed up by serpent champs. That fight took a while to win. Luckily, a well had spawned very comfortably next to the battlezone. And it was a refilling one too. How nice and thoughtful. Thank you, RNG. Maybe you are not a complete sadist after all.

There was an extra strong boss pack of snowmen behind the next corner...the actual fight wasn't too bad. Handful of Mind Blasts, CoS, warcries...we have the arsenal for that kind of situations.

Then came the 3 frenzytaur champs. Gawd. Both CoS and MB were rendered useless for most part. War Cry too. I couldn't freeze them. My shadow got pwnt by them way too fast. We were getting pwnt pretty fast too. At first there were dozen yetis too, actually they helped us. Those guys I could MB, until they converted to our side to keep the bullies busy.

However, I pretty much had to use the 2nd PS charge to damage the champs in a noticeable way. The downside: the yetis got killed by the lightining damage, I wasn't able to keep them all converted all the time. Soon all 3 champs paid their full attention to us. Not good. We decided to run like cowar...erm, perform a tactical retreat. That is what all good people do when they need a plan.

Jaago switched to a pdr ammy, and we decided to separate the pack. Now we only had to fight 2 bullheads at once. That made a huge difference. They died very easily now. Phew. Some more fighting, few less dangerous bosspacks, and we found the wp. As a last activity we cleared Drifter Cavern. Nothing dangerous in there. Of course, no good items there either.

I don't know if we are able to finish the game next time. We still have to kill Nihlathak (omg I speeled it corectyl) which will take some time (it can be dangerous as hell too). Frozen Tundra, the red portal over there, Ancient's Way + Icy Cellar, Ancients, WSK...assuming we survive.

We'll see. The truth is out there.

Another game, another victory...not the final one though. Simply, we didn't have enough time to complete the game. Pls giev time! Or smexy itamz. Smexy option naturally preferred, with or without itamz.

Ancients way wp is the hideous location where we are camping at. In other words, all the best, most exciting and the most critical things happen...next saturday! Whodathunkit? Ok...now seriously, as I always am, I will tell you few facts about the ~3 hours me and Jaago spend bashing hellish creatures back into dimension of numbers which spawned them (note the evil reference).

Ok, I'll try to make this a more interesting read. Seriously...

Nilly alone took 1.5 hours. So much precious time down the drain. Giev back my life, Blizzard! What, you won't? You must be kidding...

*tears*

Well...you can expect to spend so much time down there in those smelly tunnels when you are doing full clears with relatively badly equipped HC melee characters. I'm going to punch the guy, who invented all those silly rules for this group, in the face, hard.

The somewhat annoying monster spawns did not ease the pain. Flayers, fallen & shaman, quill rats...Baals finest elite forces. There was a cursed frenzytaur bosspack in the first level, but that was pretty much the only harder fight, if not counting Nilly himself. Some twisted random occurrence blessed the paleface with both Might and Amp. Crowd control time! We kept the monsters stunned, blinded or converted as we best could. Jaago tried to hork all explosives, but we got bombarded couple of times, losing chunks of hp. I sent my shadow in the middle of the whole mess to act as a mine sweeper, which worked well enough. The paleface was physically as weak as he looked like, so we cracked his skull open brutally *evil laughter* There was only crap in his dimensional pockets...and a Key of Destruction. Thank you, oh mighty dudeness, for this awesome useless item!

Infernal Pit was an infernal pit. Surprised? I'm not. OK's, succubi and blowdart flayers. The flayers are irrelevant though...pathetic wimps. The OK & succubi combo was nasty. Usefulness of CoS and MB was reduced, random curses were thrown at us all the time (what an exciting minigame, seriously!), the succubi spreaded out all over the place, Jaago couldn't attack safely...couple of succubi bosses in the beginning of the area didn't help either. After some time and couple of town visits we cleared the area. It is a huge relief to know we are never going back there again. I'm going to pat the guy, who invented all those great rules for this group, on the back, softly.
