i heard that people often put points into telekinesis for energy shield

----> what exactly does telekinesis do for energy shield as a bonus????

No they don't. Only "hard" points give your other skills synergy bonuses. Hard points are points you earn through leveling and through quests. You can only have a max of 110 "hard" points, so use them wisely when it comes to synergies ^^
