As the title says, I am wondering if a lightning enchanted monster is always immune to lightning? Or it can be lightning enchanted and still not immune to lightning?
A LE unique gets a bonus to lightning resist. I'm not sure of the exact amount, but I believe it's somewhere around 75%. Which means that it's not enough to guarantee immunity, but it's enough to push most monsters over 100% resist.

Ah yes, I see.
Cheers for the info :)

Yeah, it is in fact a 75% bonus to their LR. Which essentially means all LEs in Hell will be immune. They also get an AR boost, and do a negligible amount of lightning damage when they hit you.
