ok, so I just recently installed DII:LoD. but haven't made the transition yet to 1.1*

Im still on 1.09, just to play around with old builds, before making the move to 1.1*

Problem:: Strategy compendium is down

so, now, I have a lvl 30 sin, with 22 Skill Pts unused, and 41 Stat Pts unused

90 STR, 34 DEX, 40 VIT, 25 INT, 41 unused

I have 1 in Shadow Master, and 1 in BoS, 5 in the prereqs(CMastery, PsyHam, CoS, Weap Block, SWarrior)

1 in Cobra Strike, and Tiger Strike
1 in Dragon Talon and Claw

so, what are some skills I can spend points on that assures me that my sin can still be playable once I convert to 1.1*?

this is never going to be a pvp/dueler. just PVM
I also don't like traps, although it seems that's what's "IN" now

im not sure if I want to be a WW/kicker sin, or if a plain Phoenix striker, BoS, CoS, Tiger Strike sin would still be good, as it doesnt have synergies, except for PS

so, real problem now::: Can't kill diablo, LOL
I cant hit him with my AR, so small chances of getting charges on my cobra and tiger to get great leech
im on act 4 normal, and can't kill him without spamming potions(I dont like that)
but then im breezing through everything easily
mephisto dies within just 5 seconds LOL

lack of AR tells me to get tiger strike high, and my mastery and/or dragon claw

but im not sure if im going dual claw or c/s or kicking or WW

I have a +2 Shadow Discipline Rare crown
rake scar war axe, steel clash kite shield
and magical/rare claws that have leech, +skills, have ED
15-30 ave dmg

I have +4 on martial arts skills, and +2 shadow

For killing skills, if you don't like traps, either one or more elemental charge-ups or Tiger/Dtail would probably be the best ways to go. Everything else either wasn't that good in 1.09, or was good but got a lot worse in 1.1.

Diablo was tough for an Assassin, but I wouldn't recommend putting points in DC or CM. The primary problem isn't likely to be your AR, but rather his blocking, and there's no way to get around that. If your AR does suck, I'd address it through equipment rather than those skills.

ah, yeah, I read about diablo's blocking, and people were confused about it, despite having the stat screen show 95% chance to hit diablo, they're still "missing"

are builds like:
DClaw(?), TStrike, Phoenix, BoS, CoS viable in 1.1*?

cos that's where im thinking of taking this sin, whether it be 1.09 or 1.1*
