Please help. I entered an editor (Yes im playing singleplayer) and wanted to reset the skills just to test around different builds with my necro. For some odd reason i get this msg now :cry:

Have you tried the Phrozen keep or wherever you got the mod from? They'd probably be more qualified to help you with something like this, as this site doesn't support any SP mods aside from RWM/RRM and the muling application ATMA.

It sounds to me as though the editor is corrupting the .d2s file.

That was valid advice - the editor is probably corrupting your files and re-installing should reset everything back to normal. It's only your second post and you've flamed another member who was trying to help; you're not going to get very far at this rate.

yes but to tell this what Jackson said to someone who's frustrated for he just wanted to test different builds out.
that's what an editor purpose can be other than cheating lol.

he did not respond in good manner, but I at least understand that ;)

I don't thikn reinstalling will help in any way. as only d2 char files are modified when using editors. so just try to make a new char, and if u wanna test stuff out, maybe get a mod for that? or get another editor

I think PlugY allows skill point unassignation. Equal to reset and safer for your save files, though it is not allowed if you plan to trade for SP items here.
It is not allowed for other reasons too, such as ability to get uber quest for SP among other things.

Bad hireables means you corrupted your .d2s folder by editing stuff. Whatever you edited, edit it back and you'll be fine. It's completely reversable with an error.
