The guide for the PvM trapper/DTalon guide is down.

I just want to know if 20 LS, 20 DS with 20 TS and 20 DTail is good enough for an untwinked assassin to run hell and beyond.

Thanks.

I don't think a Kick/Trap puts points in Tiger Strike and Dragon Tail. :x

It is enough to run Hell, I don't know about beyond. This is a DTail/Trap hybrid BTW, not DTalon/Trap. :wink3:

Well it was the only hybrid guide I could see. I haven't yet put any points into Martial Arts at all. I'm 71 with 22 points saved and maxed DS & LS.

Thoughts on where to put my remaining points to be viable in Hell and beyond? Right now, my melee damage is pitiful so I was thinking either venom or martial arts instead of pumping more into traps or shadow mastery.

Well, most DTailer max TS and DTail first. That combo rips through anything, until you start to run into high physical resists. Traps on the other hand take a while to warm up.

BTW, I noticed you didn't mention any of the 1-point wonders. CS is a lifesaver, CoS a necessity. I personally don't like MB because it's conversion can really mess up the TS/CS/DTail cycle. Therefore I'm not a big fan of SM for this build either.

Venom won't compare in damage to DTail, and it'll have trouble beating LS/DS. Also, you might seriously want to consider Treachery. If you decide to use that, any point in BoS, fade, or venom is wasted, although 1 in BoS is great for leveling.
