Help me decide!

As you all know, the Ladder will reset on June 25. I want a sorc build that can make it through hell solo and then do some MF when she's done. Which would be the best build for the job? Keep in mind she'll use the gear she finds as she goes.

I have a CL/FO, and I strongly doubt you can get an untwinked CL/FO through hell solo. A heavily twinked one, perhaps.

Meteorb is the only build there I would recommend untwinked. The other two involve a serious investment in gear.

Out of the list you have given, Meteorb is probably the best for untwinked play, although all three builds are workable, don't necessarily be discouraged about using the lightning tree. Just make sure you get FO first which will carry you through nm and allow you to run meph a bit for some decent low level caster gear. For the most efficient and easy build though, with the ability to solo and mf in most areas of hell, in relative safety, Meteorb is the way to go.

[NOTE: I made both an untwinked CL/FO sorceress and an untwinked CB/FO in 1.10, but since 1.11 is harder I may be have overestimated their abilities in hell for 1.11 - especially CB which needs you to get up close and personal with monsters which I don't recommend untwinked - having said this, I might actually try an untwinked CL/FO and see how she fares in 1.11!! :P]

Meteorb is definitely the best all around, good MF'er, can solo the whole game.

CL/FO can also get you there if you've played a lot of sorcs and have good D2 skills. Not as good an MF'er, because ultimately the best lite gear isn't the best MF gear. With meteorb, Tals is extremely nice for damage, resists and MF.
