question bout concentration/fanatiscm

this might belong in paladin section but its also bout statistics dmg for pala

i made a hammer paladin just once i didnt really know how to make it so i just started asking and ppl told me to use concentration is better

i was level 83 then alot of ppl told me i was a noob cuz u need fanatiscm
and i ****ed up the pala

tho now a friend of mine uses concentration :S im confused

but another thing is i have a good smiter my bro has the exact same 1
we both use fanatiscm of course(right?)
and have bout 2200 dmg with full smiter points etc etc
now my friend joins in with his concentration hammerdin and i have like 1000 dmg extra like 3000 that confused me totally lol

becuz i tried having concentration (with low points on my smiter) and fana on my bro we had same dmg and me using low concentration having low dmg

so where does this high dmg come from and what skill u use for hammerdin??

Only concentration increases the damage of blessed hammer (50% listed concentration damage bonus). If you're going a hammerdin you'll want to use concentration.

Also, with regards to your smiters, the damage bonus from fana and concentration stack, so if you can get access to both auras your smite damage will increase.

Edit: Note too that the damage bonus from fana for party members is significantly lower than the damage bonus to the wielder. For example, a level 25 fana aura gives the wielder 458% Enhanced Damage, but only 229% to party members. If your friend has the above mentioned fana aura on, he will get a 458% damage bonus while you'll only a bonus of 229% damage.

Those people are either clueless, didn't realize it was a Hammerdin or all of the above.

The point is that only Concentration has effect on the hammer damage. So, don't bother with Fanatism, because it just won't do anything for you. Well, it does for your merc, but....
