I want to listen to my own music while I play, but the music whenever I'm in channels and everything is incredibly annoying, especially when I'm trying to listen to something softer like Neil Young solo...

Is there any way I can turn off the sound in the menus (I figured out in-game)? Not cut off the sound entirely, as I do like a little sound effects (whee~).

Of course, if this isn't possible, is there a way to just have no sound at all? ;p

Thanks.

You can put -ns in the command line for "no sound."

It would look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -ns

A list of other commands can be found here:
on this site (http://www.diabloii.net/faq/d2x-ufaq.shtml#commands-start)

I'm pretty sure setting the music level to zero won't effect the channels but control+M should work nicely as well.

Since I run on a slower computer, I just use an Ipod or something for music, and turn the computer sound level to 0. =P

Well, ctrl+m worked.

Awesome.
