did any body tried fisting duels (no weapons/shields) for low level duelers?

Paladins will have a very strong advantange over all the other classes...
Though i will say if you sit and think you might be able to come up with something interesting. Like a "Attacker takes dmg of xxx" conc barb. Or possibly an sin with a couple things... i dont know.

Moving on past the obvious leap in syntax....Yes there was a "fist" dueling league called the Fite Club a while back in 1.10. Barbs beat pallies because class buffs were allowed and conc > zeal.

To avoid further off topic - it is about D2 characters fighting with their bare hands :afro:
How about bare wolf paws?
Conc barb wins easily.
Wolf is way too slow, and off weapon ias doesn't matter.
Paladins can't beat conc barbs at level 30 even with a 6x eth weapon. Without 6x Eths it wouldn't even be close against a 20k defense barb.
I assume we aren't considering builds like kicker, rabies, fireclaw or smite.

Smite wouldn't work, no shield either.
I like the idea of a kicker or a fireclaw druid, although the fireclaw would be a tad slow.

It's a FIST FIGHT, not a kick or claw fight.
Myself, I would try a lvl 30 Sorc Ghandi. Max Shiver Amor, Max Chilling Armor, 1cmastery, 1warmth, rest into Telekinesis and prebuff ES, T-storm, Shiver armor, and enchant.
Although, if i really wanted to make a lamo-puncher, I'd make a Prayer w/ 1Cleansing-1Meditation. Since everyone will be doing crap physical damage with most of there damage coming from CB, OW, and PSN, Using Cleansing could negate all of those. Further, zeal punching uses up mana, but with Meditation on, you could punch for a very long time. WIth these defensive skills, your inventory would be dedicated to increasing your AR and your damage. You could fill it up with psn charms or one type of ele charms, although I'm not sure if the MDR bug subtracts from one source or from a collection of the same type of ele damages.

What about an enchantress? Would she stand a chance vs these conc barbs and zealing paladins?
She could slap some points in enchant and frozen armor or whatever cold armor it is and she could be viable right? Ive never lld'd so im not sure how viable this is bout it seems like it could.

At that level enchantress doesnt do that great of dmg and then u also have to consider how slow u r punching.

And is prebuffing even allowed? In all seriousness (because some people though my whirly barb suggestion was serious) I'd vote regenadin. Fists just aren't going to beat a stacked regen pally.
when starting this i had in mind lev 9 or lev 18 lld. i'm not sure should be any attack skills allowed or just normal attack. whirlwind is not fisting anyway...

You forgot this is a fistfight and an lld one, so you won't find any 2k dmg fists unless you use a high level character to enchant buff + multi-auras + all other kinds of "cheating".

Charms and jewels will get you to 2k.

A Charger can get this easy enough.
7 +15Max Jewels, 10 +6 Max GCs and 10 +1 max scs (or is it +3?) with maxed Charge and Might gives +175Max and 1175%ED for a 2231 max damage charge.
Another one could be a Frost Zealot - I work that with no +Skills you get 640 Cold damage and about a hundred Aura damage with 53% Slow. Peoples resists will, or should be, rubbish so it should do OK. Theres room for improvement - mix with charge maybe.
A charger could get well over 2k damage but I assumed this was a melee idea.

necro - amplify damage, weaken, bone shield
curses, shape and protection skills can be cast only once in the fight

Can people use belts, gloves, amulets or rings? Or charms?
