hello,
i have a dillema... i have a 100% legit jah and ber (traded them here on etf :) ) and i would like to make a Eni Dusk. i have a 3s Dusk already - 427 def, no ed. just need your opinion if i should make an eni there or try to find/buy better dusk for it? im not too rich and jah+ber is a lot for me. I want to make it as affordable as possible :)

Well, personally I think APs look better and I like the extra defense on them but that is another matter, especially if strength is an issue.

The range on a dusk is 361-467 (average of 414), your 427 being slightly above average. I don't like having ED on my runewords unless they are indestructible because I find the repair prices to be absurd and not worth it. That being said, with your current armor, if you get a very high roll you could possible have 1200+ (up to 1202) def on it. However, if you want to be guaranteed 1200 defense you will need a base dusk of 450. Regardless, the extra defense of a higher base dusk or one with ED will not make much of a difference at all (negligible really). I hope that somehow helps you make a decision.

fyi, just cuz u traded for those runes here doesn't make them 100% legit unless they are specifically found by you. There are just too many dupes flooded around. Even though this is a pretty safe trading forum, there will be those traders (some are even trusted) that will sell unperm items as perm aka legit.

Sup armors will be definately harder to find and more expensive, however u can repair them using the cube and a ral rune so thats not too hard to do.

I'd go ahead and make it in what you have. On the off chance that those runes aren't really legit, they could poof before you get a higher defense 3os +ED% armor which you can wear without pumping strength.

Greed in waiting for the perfect armor/weapon after I've traded for the HRs and I already have something acceptable to put them in has gotten me in trouble before. Runes poof, and you're left broke again.

i liked the idea to get a 450+ for 1200def eni... but yeah, even 1100 is better than 3soc Dusk without any runes left. ive made it in my 427 and it have.... +751 def :) crap, but for me that's enough. 1178 def

100% legit jah and ber? That's really something :kiss:

Keep in mind that when high runes are cubed (dupers do that sometimes to "perm" them), they don't poof, even if you don't socket them and keep in public games etc.
The only way they get erased is a ruststorm.

I would've personally waited until I had a nice armor with ed, if the runes were truly legit.

I agree, but only if I find the runes myself. If I trade for them on the forums with a reputable member who assures me they're self-found or cubed, I'll have 95% faith that these runes will not poof on me. But if I have something to stick them in? That 5% uncertainty will eat me alive if I don't take the chance when I have it.

But yeah, HRs I find myself, I'll hang onto until the time is absolutely right. And I certainly don't trade them. (I don't trade with HRs I traded for, either, because I have a problem dealing things to others that I know are almost certainly dupes. Thus all of my FT lists end up being spirit set runes, self-found items, and pgems.)
