Uber Hammer - L.Resist vs H.Shield

im doing Uberdin from this guide:

but im still not convinced about investing in LRes. it looks nice, but would this 95 lr really matter if i would have 90 without investing either (thats vs uMeph, -5res in pvm because i won't use Lo'ed Kira for normal pvm)? isn't more def and less dex (+block from hShield) better? what do you guys think?

max holy shield on just about any paladin, it well worth it.. pts in lres should only be after you have maxxed more important skills like HS

but taking 10% of the dmg and taking 5% of it is a pretty big difference (im talking about investing 10 points in LR). the hardest monsters in pvm - Souls. the hardest uber - Meph. The hardest chars to resist - light chars like FoH, Trap, Light Sorc. 10 points in hShield will save few dex points and give me some more def. 10 points in LR will reduce light dmg i take for about 33-50% i think.

go for it if you want.. i just use a 12% sorb wisp ring and have 75 LR on my hdin and souls cant touch me

I don't know about Uber Meph, but with Fortitude + T-Gods, Souls actually heal me. So I put the points into Smite after I maxed Holy Shield, for better damage (no Grief :( )
