Are PGEMS worth anything on classic and what is the currency?

p gems are worth a lot to people that play both classic and LOD. they can move all the p gems to LOD to craft items.

Well 40 pgems are only worth 1 hr in LOD so they are worth crap in the xpac but I dont know about in classic thats why I was asking.
Also how many pgems is a lenmyo?

40 PGems for a HR is an incredibly good deal, since you'll probably never get an SOJ (the unit of currency in Classic) for your PGems (in Classic).
You could probably get a gull (the lower tier currency under soj - the cents to the dollars) for 40 pgems if you were lucky. I'd say generally the work required in getting 40pgems is more time consuming than the work required to find an item worth a gull mfing.
As said above though, the idea of trading any amount of pgems for a soj would be absolutely ridiculous in classic.
I didnt say pgems were worth anything... I was asking and tempest tried to tell me they were.
I also didnt ask how many = one soj... what I was asking was how many for uniques such as lenmyo....
Heres the uniques I want and a estimate of how many pgems each are worth because it seems to me like getting pgems would be the easiest way to obtain the items I want...

Can someone tell me how many pgems each of those would go for.... someone told me lenmyo isnt worth anything.

Personally I don't think I would trade any of those items (some of which I have plenty spare) away for any number of pgems.
Just keep the skulls, they are worth more then the rest of the gems, since they can be used in batches of 6 to reroll items. Mind you, very few people can be bothered to do this though.
Atlantean is not available in Classic. Only normal type uniques, no exceptional, no elite.
Only normal, magic and rare exceptionals.
It is said that some people might trade their lenny for 5PS or so. Count on most people not willing to trade though. Gems in classic are just used to fill sockets and if one needs a specific gem, one can CS a few games and find that gem. So gems have no value in classic.
On a sidenote, you may wish to look into rares, as these are often far more valuable and usable then uniques. Rares are king in classic. Uniques only have niche applications.
Its easier to buy uniqs with gold (vs gemms). Many like to gamble, so just gather money and set up games like 700k 4 lenny...

yes it's true rares rule classic some rares r worth sojs and some r worth more than sojs and warlock is right pgems r pretty useless in class other than 2 fill socs and 3 pskulls in a cube with a soj + a rare 2 soc the item.

Ya like Im going to be able to trade rares for uniques either. Basically what your saying is you cant trade for uniques and I gotta find them myself that could take forever to find specific ones.

Why would anyone lie to you about getting certain items for gold? I'd suggest actually getting on Battle.net and trying to get the items in such a manner before dismissing the idea as "absurd".

Also I just cant picture gold for anything most people laugh when you offer gold for a item and call you a nub and if gold is worth anything at all than how much gold would you need to get silks of the victor or tarnhelm.
Also is there anyone here that would be willing to trade classic stuff for xpac stuff? I know there is a issue of trust but Im trustworthy.

This is true, but most of this won't happen on normal/nightmare difficulty games. Go to hell difficulty put up a game named like 500k for a shard and you'll get a trader pretty fast, because most high levels don't go to look on norm/nm games, but they do want the money to gamble it off with(i repeat again) ''high levels''

i have no clue how much silks is worth 2 tell u the truth the only things i use gold 4 is repairs, i pay my friend 1.5M 4 full rushes, and pots thats about it

I have no clue how much silks is worth, To tell you the truth the only things i use gold for is repairs, i pay my friend 1.5M for full rushes, and pots thats about it.

I once tried buying twitch or shard i beleive. I made a game 1mil for shard. Noone came, Money is now lost due to dueling. I guess I should try again soon.
See the above is what worries me.... some people say yes and others say no.
I guess Im going to have to test it for myself. Ill try like 700k for silks.

By the way gambling is uber because rares are the main thing in classic and gambling is a great way of getting those... which you need tons of gold for.

just to finish this once and for all.
some people WILL trade you silks for gold...why? because they have about six or seven collecting dust on mules. If they see a game such as: 7mil for silks, possibly someone will come. These are also the people that dont want to waste their time gfing (gold finding) just to gamble. Trust me, i know a few.

7 mil? LOL I doubt this guy will ever get to hold 7 mil on a char since he probably won't stick with classic long enough to reach that high of a lvl. My lvl89 din can hold a maximum of 2.25mil in stash.
Its possible but 7 mil is a little crazy can chars even hold that much?

For some odd reason I wouldn't sell rares for gold, unless I would sell them to the shop, then I sometimes sell them for 35k.
I bought a gull a while back for 3Mil.
And gull=silks=goldskin for most people.
Though people are more likely to trade their silks for your gull, since gulls are smaller to store.
People might trade their shard for 700k, but 700k might not be enough to persuade people to come trade their silks.
Perhaps you could offer them 1,5milion or more. Note that this does make for 'risky' trades, since you don't know if that person will run off after you dump the first load of gold on them, or if they trade their item for the first load of gold, they don't know if you will run off.
Best thing to do is to MF and ID all exceptional rares. Look at the types of weapons people are using, those would be most interesting to keep. You could MF in your 'gold for shard' games.
It really will not work if somebody shows you their silks and you offer gold for it, unless they came to you in your 'gold for silks' game.
I don't think I would try to trade silks for gold though. Just run with some CS's and see what rares you can pillage. If the rare looks good, you could have it price-checked here and find out if it's worth the uniques you want.
Though, as I hinted at before, don't get too hung up on uniques. Classic economy doesn't run on uniques other then perhaps SoJs. But the most valuable items are and allways will be rares.
