Baal Gc?

I get that a gc dropped by baal is a baal gc, but I have also heard that a gc dropped by nihli is classed as a baal gc too as it has the same item lvl, just wondered if this is true.

Also how do you prove it was dropped by baal/nihli?

It's definitely a Baal/Nihlathak/Diablo GC if it has the 41-45 life mod on it. Otherwise, one would just have to take your word for it.

Well i found one that had 40 life on it to start with but i have rerolled it now, and another one with +1 minimum damage, are these classed as baal gc's then (sorry for sounding stupid, but i have never really done anything with baal gcs before)

its still considered a baal gc no matter what mod is on it, however trading to someone since ur activity on this forum isn't that great will be hard since u dont have the proof to show it (41-45life mod).

Do you remember where the charm dropped? If it's from Hell Baal/Diablo/Nihlathak, it's classified as a Baal GC, regardless of what mod is actually on it.

Anyways, neither +40 life or +1 minimum damage proves that it is a Baal GC, so you might have difficulty trading that as a Baal GC.

Diablo charms have ilvl 94, Nihlathak charms have ilvl 95, and Baal charms have ilvl 99. The highest affix available on grandcharms (+41-45 life) can spawn on charms with ilvl >= 91, so in practice, charms from Diablo, Nihlathak, and Baal are identical.

They can't drop. But if they could, then yes, they would be able to get a +50 life mod.

As far as Grand charms are concerned, yes. However, I believe there are some mods for small charms (large too?) that are available only from Baal drops.

Yea, I've rolled a few baal scs before....didn't really find that it was worth it. In my opinion, I'd stick to rolling GCs as you were asking about initially.

There are 5 affixes on SCs which can only be dropped be Diablo, Nihlathak and Baal: Flaming (not in the above list), Pestilent, Shocking, Hibernal, and Red. Baal and Nihlathak SCs can have any of these affixes. Those from Diablo can have any except red, hibernal and shocking.

BTW, Red is not an elemental affix, but +1 mindmg with an alvl of 90.

The ilvl does not degrade. That only applies to rerolling rares iirc and, in turn, does not apply to rare diadems.
