Hello,

I don't know what has happened but my new Freezealot has his Holy Fire at level 99 instead of 1 as it should be.

Can anyone tell me how I can edit the level back to 1 with ATMA V.

Even if I've checked all boxes that say allow edit I cannot edit the level of Holy Fire.

Hi, as there has been another question about problems with character files recently, let me quote what I said there, because I think it will help you also:

Firstly, this is the wrong forum, ask in the Single Player (non-trading) forum, you will get much more help there.

Secondly, there may be a solution to your problem, don't do anything till the people in the Single Player Forum help you, there are some backup files that can be used to recover items lost, so don't do anything else until you are told to, so that you don't damage the backup files.

I wish I knew what was the cause and the solution to your problem.

This thread will probably be moved to the correct forum, so you don't need to start another thread.

I think it is important that you make a copy of all the files involved, so that if the instructions you are given are wrong, then you can go back and start again from the initial situation.

The reason ATMA is accepted within the SPF is because the *ONLY* editing you can do with it, is changing the character name.

You CANNOT alter stats or skills with ATMA.

(I understand you used to be abled to but those features were removed in order for ATMA to become acceptable here.)

With respect ... how did HFire get to be level 99? Have you used any other editors or installed any mods?

I haven't used any editors or mods. That's why I'm totally stumped how it happened. In the paladin forum someone suggested that I've accidentally made the edit with ATMA.

So I asked there how that's possible, so that I could change the value back, nobody answerd me. That's why I came here to ask as I figured that SP-players know about ATMA the best.

So now I know that I couldn't have done it accidentaly with ATMA, so it have to be somekind of bug. Either in LOD 1.11 itself or in ATMA.

Maybe I should delete the character and start a new one.

Ah, I see! It's really only the SPF who understand ATMA.

I am presuming you are using the latest version of ATMA. I can't remember when the edting functions were removed; certainly before my time on the forum.

I would certainly start a new character but I would also suggest posting - or see if a Mod would merge this thread - in the ATMA thread in the SPF. I am sure Doc Tenshi would love to have a look at the character before you delete him.

Good luck with the new character.

@Wanchu - there is a perfectly good Stickied thread for ATMA/Flavie/etc in the SPF. A new thread is not necessary.

As this thread has not been moved, I suggest you should start a new thread about this in the Single Player Forum (non-trading). There you will get much more help.

You could use the character files from any backup you made. Or rename the .org files created by ATMA in the proper way (I am not sure how) to recover a previous status of your character. You can get more information in the Single Player Forum (non-trading).

i agree with Thyiad - there is a stickied thread in the SPF for ATMA problems (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=532037) - if you post a brand new thread, I suspect it will be closed quickly.

Actually, I'm not sure what your problem's cause may be, and I'm doubtful you'll find a lot of help... it sounds like an editing problem, but since we're not edit-friendly, for the most part we're pretty clueless in that area.
