How many sox does a Gnarled Staff get?

Found a lovly Gnarled Staff +3 Energy Shield/+2 Thunder Storm. But, its found in normal act4. How many sockets does it get from Larzuk?

It should get 4 Sockets. Regardless of ilvl, a white Gnarled Staff should always get 4 sockets from Larzuk.

Larzuk gives the maximum amount of sockets available to an item depending on it's ilvl. The stave item type has ilvl breakpoints of 5/6/6, which means that the gnarled staff would get 5 sockets from ilvl 1 to 24, 6 sockets from ilvl 25 to 39 an 6 sockets from ilvl 40 to 99. But since a Gnarled staff can have no more than 4 sockets it'll always get 4 sockets regardless from Larzuk as long as it's white.

Only to uniques and rares. (rares can drop with 2sox though). Magic(blue) items have a 50/50 chance of getting 2sox at lazuk.
